Molly Carr is a fine art destination wedding photographer, inspired by storybook romance, impressionist artwork, and all things French.
After using a template website for years, Molly was looking for a website with a completely custom, luxury aesthetic. For its impressive artistic flexibility and capacity for refined details, we turned to Showit.
Marrying Molly’s business goals, ideal audience, and romantic sensibility, we created a brand and website that reflect & showcase her thoughtful client experience, passion for beauty, and artistic eye. For the custom calligraphed “M” brand mark, we looped in the talented Shasta Bell Calligraphy.
Narelle Janine Events is a luxury full-service event planning company in Toronto, inspired by fine details, elegant aesthetics, and the warmth of romance.
After a few years in business, NJE was outgrowing its template website and DIY branding. Narelle’s first approach was to go through a professional rebranding and update the web template to reflect that. But even with months of tinkering, she wasn’t getting the results she wanted and turned to custom design.
Bringing together Narelle’s new brand identity, her dream client, and her future vision for the company, we created a chic-yet-cozy custom website design, full of layering and fine art details.
Suite is a fashion brand by Jennifer Diederich, inspired by sparkling cocktail parties, plenty of color, and chic 1960s silhouettes.
Ready to move on from selling on Etsy, Jen was looking for her own shop platform, and a fresh brand identity for her collection’s new phase.
Drawing together Jen’s inspiration and goals, we created a world of vintage-style glamour injected with a playful, whimsical mood.
Angela Joy is a freelance dancer and choreographer in New York City. She takes her art very seriously, but not much else - and she wanted her brand and website to capture that feeling. At the same time, her site needed to serve as a professional portfolio for potential collaborators and directors.
The end result was a bright and bold brand and SquareSpace 7.1 custom website design that brought together Angela’s personality, goals, and inspiration in an unfussy (but fun) design.
To top it off, she can easily add new images and videos as her body of work continues to grow!
RK Florals is a luxury florist in Indianapolis, inspired by Dutch Masters’ paintings, old-world romance, and a European pace of life.
When the owner, Robyn, found she couldn’t make her Squarespace website look the way she wanted, she felt it was out of step with the fine art floral services she offers to her clients. It was time to refresh her branding and create a website that was tailored to fit her business and clientele.
While maintaining her existing monogram logo mark, we created a visual brand design full of old-world typography and a moody color palette. We also updated her logo mark with a fresh variety of formats and colorways, to see RK florals through any future projects - print or digital.
In a world full of all-white websites, this one is instead like stumbling through the frame into one of Jan Davidsz de Heem’s still life paintings - deep colors, floral details, and simple styling besides.
Glam in Gotham is a style blog by Mary Higham, inspired by her home city of New York, her maximalist taste in fashion, and a dash of editorial edge. Mary was looking for a fresh start after too many technical issues with the website platform she used for her previous blog.
Together, we imagined the edgy and modern attitude of New York City infused with all of Mary’s color and whimsy - then brought it to life in this colorful brand and website. For the custom Chrysler building watercolor artwork, we looped in the talented Samantha of Painted Palettes.
In my Bespoke Website Design process, we’ll take a fresh look at your business strategy, and use it as the foundation to create your new design.
